Corinne Marie McMillan departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2009, at River Parishes Hospital due to complications from pneumonia. McMillan was born on Oct. 23, 1917, in Montz to Wilford and Georgiana Keller. She became a resident of Norco, where she opened and ran several businesses including Corinnes’ Restaurant and Hotel. Corinne and her late husband, Calvin were avid Saints fans. Together they also enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Calvin McMillan and late husband I. C. Erickson, her brother Earl Keller, her sister Bessie Brignac and grand-daughter Shelly Savage.

She is survived by her daughters Laura Savage, Cindy Landry and Beverly Barrios, her son-in-laws Robert Landry and Eddie Savage, her sister Evelyn Hymel Brady, grandchildren Troy Savage, Shawn Savage, Calvin Landry and Cheney Murray, her great-grandchildren Hillary Savage, Troy Savage Jr., Cody Landry and Anistin Murray and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation and services were held on Thursday, Jan. 15, at the H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie.
