Nawzer Parakh, site leader for Dow St. Charles Operations in Hahnville, Louisiana, and vice president for operations and global business manufacturing director for Dow’s Glycol Ethers and Amines businesses, was recently chosen to serve on Governor-Elect Bobby Jindal’s Government and Fiscal Reform Advisory Council. The advisory council is one of seven advisory councils established by Jindal that will study issues and make recommendations concerning policies he announced during his campaign.

“It is an honor to be included in the planning stages of the new Jindal Administration,” said Parakh. “It is important to everyone in Louisiana, including Dow, that we have a government in Baton Rouge that is doing the work needed to move our state forward in a fiscally responsible manner.”

This is not Parakh’s first involvement on a statewide level. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Chemical Alliance and is a member of the Louisiana Chemical Association.
