LUTCHER- Bertha James Laiche, 97, of Lutcher on April 28, 2007.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law Donald and Gerrie Laiche and son-in-law Michael Martin Jr.
Also survived by eight grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren and one sister.
She was preceded in death by husband Alvin J. Laiche, daughter Doris L. Martin, parents Zebby and Elizabeth (Graham) James, three brothers and two sisters.
Services were held on Wednesday May 2, 2007 at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 11 a.m.
Vitrano
NORCO- Peter “Sweet” Vitrano, 89, of Norco and native of St. Rose on April 26, 2007.
He is survived by his children and their spouses, Lynn Vitrano and Della, Linda V. LeDoux and Leonard, Darryl Vitrano and Carolyn and Terry Vitrano; siblings Carrie Decoteau, Effie Zito, and Carrie Mae “Babe” Rodrigue and 13 grandchildren.
Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by parents Martin and Rosa Vitrano, wife Elmer and brother Frank Vito.
Services were held Saturday April 28. 2007 from St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church at 1 p.m.
