VACHERIE- Walter Joseph Amedee, 75, of Vacherie. He is survived by four brothers, Alvin and wife Etta, and Roland Amedee of Vacherie; Steve Amedee of Lutcher; Ralph and his wife Betty Amedee; one sister Amazelle A. Rodrigue and husband Alvin, and many nieces and nephews.

Also survived by godchildren June A. Waguespack, Angelle Amedee, and Andrew Amedee.

Preceded in death by parents Louis J and Nazie Folse Amedee, and one sister-in-law, Nell Amedee.

Visitation was held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Vacherie from 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 9, 2007.

Broden

VACHERIE_Tyronne (Big Chuck) Broden, 36, of Vacherie, on Tuesday, March 6, 2007. He was the son of Sophie S. Broden and the late Michael Broden, Sr. and fiancée of Tawana Jones.

He is survived by children Dontrell and Khalill Joseph, Tylas and Asia Bailey, Niles Vancourt, Jontrae, Jonta, Jonrell, Jaliem and Jaguon Jones. He was the brother of Michael and his wife Angie Broden, Penny and her husband Juan Fleming.

Also survived by grandmother Eva Stewart and the late Alexander Stewart and Walter and Viola Broden, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, relatives and friends.

Services will be held on March 10, 2007 from First Baptist Church, 1244 Magnolia Heights, Vacherie, LA at 11 a.m. with visitation at the church starting at 9 a.m.

Achille Pierre Roques, 87, of Lutcher and native of Paulina, on Monday, March 5, 2007. We was a WWII veteran of the U.S. Coast Gurad.

He is survived by daughter Sheilea Dominguez and son-in-law Charles Dominguez of Ponchatoula, grandchildren Steven Dominguez, Sr. and wife Kathy; Lori and Mark Dominguez.

Also survived by three great grandchildren; brothers Pascal, Nelson, Maurice and Alban Rouqes; sisters Theresa Miley and Irene Bourgeois.

Preceded in death by wife Anne Schexnaydre Rouqes, parents Alban Joseph and Aline Ordeneaux Rouqes and sister, Sister Mary Juliana Rouqes.

Services were held on Thursday, March 8, 2007 from St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina at 11 a.m.
