BATON ROUGE – Frederick Earl Robinson of Baton Rouge died on Saturday, January 27, 2007.

He was 43 years of age.

Robinson was the husband of Melissa Holliday Robinson and father of Fredrick Holliday, Taslisa and Ladeisha Holliday; and son of the late Alonzo Guss and Josephine Robinson.

He was the brother of Gwen Morgan, Marnette Jones, Drucilla Hogan, Leafay Jones, Lois Guss, Willie Mae Guss, Sharish Guss, Sherita Guss, Quenisha Guss, Tyrone Morgan, Darrell Morgan, Keith Morgan, Matt Henry and the late Adleen Henry Fredia Joseph, Edward Morgan and Jerome Morgan.

Also survived by father and mother in law, Jessie and Alice Holliday; three sisters in law, Kendra Holliday, Linda Atkin and Carolyn Jackson; four brothers in law, Billy Holliday, James Holliday, Gary Burks and Clarence Singleton; and preceded in death by sister in law Shirley Holliday and brother in law Milton Joseph.

Also, the grandfather of Shelia and Shelton Ross Jr., KeyShaun Holliday, Deshean Parker and Colin Holliday; and survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on February 2 at Hall Davis and Son Funeral Home in Baton Rouge. Rev. William Davis officiated.

Interment in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Baton Rouge.

Murray

Lisa Lynn Murray, 51, of Destrehan on and native of St. Louis, January 31, 2007.

She is survived by daughter Sarah Elizabeth Coffman, parents June LeBlanc and Paul Murray Jr., brothers Joey, Peter, and Patrick and sister Amy Murray

Also survived by sisters-in-law Stacy and Laura Murray and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Preceded in death by grandparents John Abadie and Sterling F.Coffman and maternal grandparents, Lizzie and Paul Murray Sr.

She spent her entire K-12 education at St. Charles Borromeo School and received a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from The University an New Orleans and a nursing degree from Nicholls State. She was co-owner of River Region Home Health Agency.

Services were held Monday Feb. 5, 2007 from St. Charles Borromeo Church at 11 a.m.

Oubre

GRAMERCY- Joseph Gilmore Oubre Sr., 84, of Gramercy, on Monday, Jan. 29, 2007. He was the husband of the late Anna Mae Gueret Oubre and Willis Oubre Sr., and son of Willis Oubre Sr., and Emily Kilburn Oubre.

He is survived by children Shelia Kliebert, Anna Mixon, and Ward Oubre Sr.; siblings Maurice Oubre St, Rita Laiche, Emily Lambert and Mary Bourgeois.

Also survived by nine grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was a WWII veteran.

Preceded in death by son, Gilmer Oubre Jr., three brothers and one grandson.

Services were held from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy from 8- 10 a.m. on February 2, 2007

Vicknair

PAULINA- Mable Laiche Vicknair, 84, of Paulina, on February 2, 2007. She was the wife of the late Daniel Vicknair Sr.; daughter of the late Heno Laiche Sr. and Julie Decareaux Laiche. Mother and mother-in-law of Marsha and dick Daley, Mary and Robert Miller, Danny Jr. and Regina Vicknair.

Also survived by grandchildren Chris Daley and wife Holly, Amanda Millet, Kyle Vicknair and the late Kimberly D. Lavatino.. Great grandmother of Jake Lavatino and Layla Daley. Sister to Heno Laiche Jr., Vivian Borne, Joyce Duhe, Audrey Prudhomme.

Preceded in death by Herbert, Lloyd and Norris Laiche.

Services were held Monday, Feb. 5, 2007 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church at 11 a.m.
