Curtis came out strong on their home court in the first meeting between the Lady Rebels and the Lady Patriots this season, jumping out to a 30 point lead by halftime and keeping the Riverside girls in check through the second half for a 71-42 win.

Sarah Levin led the Rebel offense in the effort with 12 points scored throughout, but Curtis boasted four players in double-digits. The second half was more generous to the Riverside squad as their offense came around, but time was not on their side as they just couldn’t close in on the gap.

The loss drops the Lady Rebels to 0-4 in district play, with four more to go including home games against St. Charles and Curtis coming up. Their season record moves to 7-14.

The win for Curtis keeps the Lady Patriots undefeated and firmly in first place in the 10-2A race.
