RESERVE — With football season over, East St. John soccer is just getting warmed up.

All-state place kicker Radi Jabour rejoined the Wilcat soccer squad last week and hit the ground running with a three goal performance Wednesday against Independance. Steven Haniford also added a score in the game, as did goalkeeper Kris Hoffpauir, who also shut out the Tigers strikers for a 5-0 win.

The victory puts the Wildcats at 5-5-2 on the season heading into a home game against Thibodaux. ESJ takes on St. Charles in LaPlace this Tuesday and Hahnville next Friday in Hahnville.

The Wildcat’s next home game is set for December 20 against Chalmette.
