EDGARD-Leon Stirling Jr, 70, of Edgard and native of New Orleans,on Saturday Dec. 1, 2006 in Jefferson. He was the son of the late Leon and Lucille Sterling SR. and husband of the late Lois Pierre Sterling,

He was the father of Angelle, Jock and wife Belinda, Leon III and wife Mary Ann, Jerome and wife Sherian and Donnie Stirling.

He was the brother of Nona Honore, Andre Sterling, Lucille Williams, Michel Sterling, Maria Stevenson, the late Lucien Stirling Sr., Joel Arnes, Maurice Stirling, Patricia S. Jones and Charles Stirling Sr.

Also survivied by 10 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins and friends.

Services will be held from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Edgard. Visitation starting at 8 a.m. with services at 10 a.m.

LAPLACE-James R. Rongey, 78 , of LaPlace on November 17, 2006. He was the beloved husband of Bonnie Dubois Rongey and father and father-in-law of Vicki and Wendell Willard of Atlanta Georgia, James and Yvonne Rongey of LaPlace, and Catherine Rongey of Atlanta and grandfather of Benjamin and Marianne Rongey.

Services held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home Tuesday Dec. 5, 2006 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Wednesday Dec. 6 from9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Burial at St. John Memorial Gardens in LaPlace

ST. ROSE- Nelson Henry Roy Jr., 36, of St. Rose, on November 23, 2006. He was the son of Nelson and Marion Roy Sr., and the brother of Latasha Roy of St. Rose, Sandra Curtis and Earline Matthews of New Orleans, Anthony, Eddie, Shelton Jr. Roy, Stoney Curtis, and Kenrick Fobb and beloved friend Elaine Narcisse.

Services were held Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006 from Victory Assembly, 5708 Airline Drive in Metairie at 10 a.m.
