KENNER – The Lady Bulldogs wrapped up their season in the quarter-finals Thursday afternoon with a three-game loss to Notre Dame, but not without showing some spark.

Katie Duhe helped lead the LHS squad on both offense and defense for the match-up, racking up 13 kills and ten digs throughout while her sister, Michelle Duhe, posted 22 assists and a pair of aces.

But Notre Dame was a handful for the LHS squad through their defensive effort which thwarted many of Katie Duhe’s thundering spikes. The second game of the match was the Lady Bulldogs most productive when they forced the Lady Pioneers into extra points. With Michelle Duhe and Tori Mabile at the serve in the final points, LHS roared back into the game with six straight points to reach a tie score. But that’s as close as they would get as Notre Dame finished it off with a 26-24 final.

The third game was also decidedly in the Lady Pioneers corner as they finished with a 25-15 score.

Lutcher volleyball finishes their season with a 22-13 record.
