Luling man arrested for list of five separate warrants

LULING- A Luling man was arrested on five separate warrants issued by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Kent Anderson, 28, of 1122 Kinler Street, Luling, was arrested on October 17 and charged with three counts of aggravated assault, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, simple criminal damage and simple battery. All charges stemmed from five separate warrants filed by the subject’s girlfriend and brother.

A warrant was issued for Anderson’s arrest on March 10, 2006 for aggravated assault following a complaint made by the subject’s girlfriend. Anderson allegedly held a knife to the victim’s throat during an altercation. As a result of another incident, a warrant was issued for Anderson’s arrest on September 19, 2006 after his ex-girlfriend filed a complaint stating that Anderson allegedly attempted to choke the victim during an altercation.

An additional warrant was issued for Anderson’s arrest on February 14, 2006 after his ex-girlfriend filed a complaint with the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office alleging that the subject took the victim’s vehicle without permission. A warrant was also issued for the subject’s arrest after the subject’s ex-girlfriend filed a complaint alleging that Anderson slashed the victim’s sofas and dented her refrigerator following yet another altercation.

Anderson was also arrested on a warrant issued on September 25, 2006 after the subject’s brother filed a complaint alleging that Anderson threatened him with a gun during an altercation.
