Man charged with break-in at girlfriends

KILLONA- A Killona man was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary after he allegedly broke into his girlfriend’s mother’s residence on October 14.

According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, Anthony D. Turner, 21, of 207 Killona Drive, Killona, was arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and warrant for probation and parole after he broke into his girlfriend’s mother’s residence.

Turner allegedly made entrance into the home after he shattered the glass on the front door. Once inside the residence, Turner pointed a gun at the victim and demanded that she leave with him.

During the incident, neighbors began yelling to Turner that the sheriff’s office had been contacted, at which time the subject fled the scene. Officers made contact with Turner at his residence and discovered that he had an injury to his head and right arm. Turner was transported to St. Charles Hospital for his injuries. Upon his release, Turner was arrested and booked accordingly.
