ST. JAMES- Amadee Mark Cayette (Tramp/Swag), 58, on October 11, 2006. He was a Deputy Sheriff with the Orleans Parish Civil Sheriff;s Office.

He was the father of Dawn Cayette White and the late Mark A. CAyette and Krisite M.Cayette..

He was the son of Dolores Legaux Robert, James J. Robert Jr. and the late Paul A. Cayette

He was the brother of james J. Robert III, and the late Yancy A. Robert.

He is also survived by son-in-law Terence J. White Jr., and sister-in-law Yolanda Robert, nine grandchildren and a host of other relatives.

Services were held Monday October, 16, 2006 at Corpus Christie Catholic Churchin St. James.

Champagne

TAFT – Lois Champagne, 76, died October 6. She was the wife of the late Norward Champagne.

She is survived by children Ave Griffin, Belinda Conner, Charlitage Edwards, Tony Terry, Don, and Demetrius Champagne.

She is also survived by siblings Shirley Mae Washington, and Jacqueline and William Walker.

She was preceded in death by father Oliver Walker and children David and Norward champagne. She was also preceded in death by siblings Eldridge and Juanita Walker.

Services were held October 16 at True Vine Baptist Church, Hahnville, with interment in Holy Rosary cemetery, Taft.

LAPLACE – Haydel Joseph White, a member of the groundbreaking Tuskegee Airmen, died September 1. He was the husband of the late Agatha Henry White.

He is survived by children Yolanda Joseph and Haydel White, Jr.

He is also survived by five grandchildren.

Services were held in September.
