HAHNVILLE – Ronda M. Davis, 44, died October 4. She was the wife of Anthony Davis.

She is survived b y mother Alice Mae Brown and by children Dana and Triniece Davis and Dayshawn Preston.

She is also survived by siblings Charlene Brown, Sarah Maxwell, Tyrone Preston, Preston Brown, Jr., William Brown, Calvin Preston, and Walter Brown.

She was preceded in death by father Preston Brown, Sr.

Services will be held October 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, Boutte, with interment in Bethlehem cemetery, Hahnville.

Lucas

NORCO-John M. &#8220Ikey” Lucas, 87, of Norco, a devoted public servant of St. Charles Parish, on October 9, 2006. He was the first Emergency Preparedness Director for St. Charles Parish, taking on the responsibility in 1980, and he served in that capacity until he retired from the position in 1996. He served as the president of the Louisiana Emergency Preparedness Association for two years. He has also served as the Director of Civil Defense for St. Charles Parish in 1977and was a member and Vice President of the St. Charles Parish Police jury for six years. He was a founding member of the St. Charles chapter of the Red Cross.

HE has lectured at Harvard and is a graduate of the Federal Emergency Management Agency Career Development program

Prior to public service he owned the Ikey Lucas Store in Norco.

He is survived by wife Loretta &#8220Lois” Lucas of Norco and son Edward J. Walters Jr and daughter-in-law Norma Callahan Walters of Baton Rouge, two grandsons, Edward J.Walters iis of D.C. and John Lucas Walters and two great-grandchildren Caroline Renee Walters and John Lucas Walters Jr.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother Walter C. and Ollie Rabalais Lucas and sisters, Dorothy Doncux and Lois Hall.

Services were held Thursday October 12, 2006, 2006 at Sacred Heart Jesus Catholic Church in Norco at 11:00 a.m.
