LAPLACE — Andouille Festival – Like the ingredients that make the spicy smoked sausage celebrated each Fall for more than 30-years, the citizens, businesses and industry have come together to enrich the community with tasteful fun, laughter and music, economic development director, Julia Remondet said.

This year’s festival in St. John Parish will be held again at the Percy Hebert Building Grounds starting at 6 pm. Friday,

October 20 thru the weekend ending at 10 p.m. Sunday, October 22.

LaPlace has been known as the Andouille Capitol of the world. With local business and community involment we will be able to build this event back to a major attraction with proceeds funding Parish non-profit organizations such as: St. Peter School, Our Lady of Grace School, Rotary Club, LaPlace Lions Club, Reserve Lions Club, and St. John the Baptist Church.
