LUTCHER – Helen Abreo Haydel, 85, of Gramercy, at 10:15 August 27, 2006 at Riverlands Health Care Center in Lutcher.

She is survived by a loving husband, Leonce Haydel Sr., son and daughter-in-law Leonce Haydel Jr. and Lydia Haydel, daughter and son-in-law, Annete H and Andre LeFriant, and brother John Earl Abreo Sr.

She is also survived byfour grandchildren Brian and Chelsea Haydel, and Ethan and Alyssa Turpin and two great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents Mr. and Mrs. Leon and Margaret Abreo Sr, brothers Leon JR, Vernell and William Abreo and sister Marguerite A. Ristroph an grandson Chad Deroche.

Services will be held August 30, 2006 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gramercy from 9:00 am to 11:00 am and buried at St.Joseph Mausoleum in Paulina.

Rodney

LULING – Marguerite Rodney, 69, of Luling, August 22, 2006 at St. Charles Hospital.

She is survivied by daughter Valerie L. White and sister Doris Alexander as well as a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Services were held August 28, 2006 at 11:00 am at The Historic Bethlehem Baptist Church in Hahnville.

Schmidt

LaPlace – Brian T. Scmidt, 31, of Metarie, at 2:40 am August 26, 2006.

He is survived by his beloved wife Layla Ferraro Schmidt and children Manny and Brady Schmidt and is the son of Toxie and Patricia Schmidt.

Also survived by brothers Christopher and John and sister Alicia Schmidt and brother-in-law Nolan Ferraro.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 Tuesday at the Millet-Guidory Funeral home in LaPlace and buried at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray.

Miculek

LAPLACE – James Edward Miculek, 57, of LaPlace at 8:25 pm in Jefferson. He is the son of Rosalee Kolafa Miculek and the late Jerry Charles Miculek.

He is survived by his wife Elaine Uquhart Miculek and father of Kristin Kael, Joseph and Robert Huck. He is also survived by son-in-law Bryan Kael, and brothers and sisters-in-law Mike and June Miculek, Jerry Miculek and wife Kay, Donnie and wife Wanda and Patrick and wife Lisa.

Also remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by first wife Christine Vicknair Miculek

Religious services were held at 11:00 am August 29, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Gramercy.

Templet

LULING – Phillip J. Templet Jr., 87, of Luling in Richardson, TX. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Elaine Melancon Templet abd sons Philip H., Brian S. Darin M and wife Melanie Templet; daughter-in-law Marilyn Broussard Templet.

He is also remembered by five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren,

He is preceded in death by parents Philip J. and Aurora Troxler Templet, son Michael D, brother Shirley P. Templet.

A memorial mass was celebrated August 30, 2006 at 11:00 am at St. Joseph’s Catholic Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux.
