Destrehan soccer reached the next round of play in the post-season over the weekend, as the boys topped Bourgeois 7-1 and the girls beat South Lafourche 8-0.

The wins advance DHS to regionals where the Lady Wildcats will travel to take on Acadiana and the boys will hit the road to play Brother Martin.

Acadiana is entering the game after a convincing 8-1 win over Bourgeois. Brother Martin is coming off of a narrow victory over St. Paul’s who played host in the Crusaders 5-4 win.

The soccer playoffs will culminate with the state championship game which is scheduled for March 4 at ULL.
