BROWN

NEW SARPY – Junious Brown Sr., 76, a native and resident of New Sarpy, died Dec. 25. He was the husband of Mary Jackson Brown and father of Junious Jr., Marilyn Scott, Danielle Moses, and the late Patricia Walker and Margie Brown.
He was also the son of the late Frank and Sarah Brown, and brother of Rosa Lee Brown, Cecillia Holland, Sullivan, Rogers, Richard and Lawrence Brown.
He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 30 at House of Prayer Baptist Church, New Sarpy, with interment at New Sarpy Cemetery.
DUFRESNE
RESERVE – Roy A. Dufresne, 88, a native and resident of Reserve, died Dec. 27. He was the husband of the late Juanita V. Dufresne.
He is survived by his children Juanita (Justin) Calvo and Elaine (Jake) Maus.
He is also survived by grandchildren Roxanne Dauzat, Troy Dubreuil, Lee and Theresa Maus and Jennifer Breaux, four great-grandchildren and godchild Emily Matherne.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ulysse and Laura Dufresne and siblings Ulysse Jr., Sydney and Ethel Dufresne.
Services were held Dec. 28 at St. Peters Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment in the church cemetery.
DUHE
GARYVILLE – Diana Dale Heltz Duhe, 63, a native and resident of Garyville, died Dec. 28. She was the wife of Manton “Slim” Duhe and mother of Clint, Galen, Shan and Faron “Slim” Duhe.
She was also the daughter of the late Richard and Clara Loupe Heltz, and sister of Clarence, Daniel, Michael “Mickey,” Ronnie, Donald, Cameron “Lamb Chop,” Septime “Tim” and Richard “Jay” Heltz Jr., and the late Nancy Bourgeois.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 30 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Garyville, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.
DUHE
LAPLACE – Randall Joseph Duhe Sr., 36, a native of New Orleans and a resident of LaPlace, died Dec. 27. He was the husband of Mary Beth Stansbury Duhe.
He is survived by his children Randall “Randy” Duhe Jr., Jose Gonzales, Roberto Gonzales, Brooke Duhe and Amanda Moorman.
He is also survived by his parents Ronald and Carol Maupin Duhe and his sister Sheri Duhe.
Services were held Dec. 30 at Rose Lynn Funeral Chapel, Lutcher, with interment in St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.
GOFF
GRAMERCY – Donald Goff Sr., 66, a native and resident of Gramercy, died Dec. 17. He was the husband of Marva Williams Goff and father of Andre, Donald Jr., Diedra and Katherine Goff and Lynette Hagans.
He was also the son of the late Alfred and Viola Miles Goff, and brother of Gerald and Harold Goff, Irma Joseph and Sedonia McGee.
He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held Dec. 30 at Golden Grove Baptist Church, Gramercy, with interment at St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina.
GREGOIRE
MONTZ – Cleveland Gregoire, 62, a native and resident of LaPlace, died Dec. 25.
He was the son of Everlina Gregoire, and the late Clayton Gregoire Sr., and brother of Evelyn Bourgeois, Deloris Caylod, Bernice Hollins, Hattie Gregoire, Cookie Taylor, Robert, Ronnie and Welton Gregoire, and the late Clayton Jr. and Joseph Gregoire.
Services are today at 10 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church No. 2, Montz, with interment at Providence Resthaven Cemetery, LaPlace. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
HARRIS
BOUTTE – Philip Harris, 79, a native and resident of Boutte, died Dec. 28.
He was the husband of Thelma Ruth Harris and father of Thelma Legaux, Carolyn Wills, Philip Jr., Donald Sr., Michael Sr., and the late Bernadine Williams.
He was also the son of the late Louise and Richard Harris Sr., and brother of Bertha “Mickey” Hill, and the late Elvenia Jones, Lillian Thomas, Louise Riley, Dora, Richard, Arthur and William Harris.
He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Services are today at 10 a.m., at Mt. Airy Baptist Church, Boutte, with interment at the church cemetery, Boutte. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
KELLER
LULING – Jason Daniel Keller Sr., 32, a native and resident of Luling, died Dec. 24.
He was the husband of Gail T. Keller.
He is survived by his children Jason Jr., Kaitlyn, Kara and Kourtney Keller.
He is also survived by his parents Louis “Johnny” and Susan L. Keller, siblings Jeremy (Jenet) Keller, grandmother Ondine “Deanie” Landry and nieces and nephews Kevin, Kenneth, Korey, Kasey and Keara Keller.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert J. Landry, Ethel Keller and Louis Keller Sr.
Services were held Dec. 29 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft.
MIX
ST ROSE – Ron Mix, 68, a native of Alberta, Canada and a resident of Kenner, died Dec. 16. He was the husband of June Mix and father of Bradley, Clinton, and Darrell and Shannon Mix and Rhonda Kotchapaw.
He was also the son of the late William and Hazel Mix and brother of Marjorie Curtis, Isabel Fleming, Leta Francisco, and the late Mildred McCauley and Muriel Tiessen.
Services will be held Jan. 4 at 1p.m. at St. Rose Baptist Church, St. Rose, with interment at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Alberta, Canada.
TURLEY
LULING – Tyronne “Monkey G” Turley, 49, a native of Norco and a resident of Luling, died Dec. 22. He was the son of the late Preston Turley Sr. and Angelina Hawkins.
He is survived by his siblings Preston Jr., Leroy, Curtis, David, Wayne, Darryl, Lonnie, Everett, Geraldine and Garrison Turley, Loraine and Yvonne Mitchell.
He is also survived by aunts and uncles Leatta Eugene, Elizabeth Mitchell and Solomon Johnson and friend Vernon Anderson.
Services were held Dec. 29 at Deliverance Temple, New Sarpy, with interment in Montz Cemetery, Montz.
