MONTZ – George Leobaux, 58, a native and resident of Montz, died Dec. 5.

He was the husband of Stella Louise Scott Leobaux.

He is survived by his daughter Karon Leobaux.

He is also survived by his mother Helen Etienne, stepmother Edna LeoBaux, siblings Wanda Anderson, Ezetta Taylor and Dorothea Leobaux and a grandchild.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Robottom Mortuary, Reserve, with interment in Montz Memorial Cemetery, Montz.

Robottom Mortuary of Reserve is in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.

LUKE

VACHERIE – Madlyn &#8220Mandy” Williams Luke, 83, a native and resident of Vacherie, died Dec. 5.

She was the wife of the late Percel Luke.

She is survived by her children Herbert Nailor, Maxine (James Philip) Ambrose, Percy and Kevin Luke, Sophia Landry and John Gantt.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Stephen Landry Jr. and Jaye Ambrose Moll and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Isiah and Elvera Thomas Williams.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at The Highway Baptist Church, Vacherie, with interment in the church cemetery.

The Baloney Funeral Home of Garyville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. at the church.

MCCUNE

LAPLACE – Eleanor Ann McCune &#8220Ellie”, 84, a native of St. Louis Missouri and a resident of LaPlace, died Dec. 6.

She was the wife of the late John N. McCune Sr.

She is survived by her children Mary Kelly McCune, Mary Kathleen Jennings, Rick, Mark, Jim and Kevin McCune.

She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Ignatius and Helen Kasal, son John N. McCune and daughter Natalie McCune.

Services will be private and held at a later date in Atlanta, GA.

BOUTTE – Sarah Lou Honor Pierre, 59, a native

She is survived by her stepchildren Andrea Pierre and Kendrick Smith Jr.

She is also survived by her siblings Helen, Elwood, Roy, Morris Sr., Melvin, Warren and Darryl Honor, Marilyn Brown and Celestine Williams, brother and sister-in-laws Cora, Lillian, Mary, Mona and Dorothy Honor, Lawrence Williams, Oreila, Eva, Mary Ann, Jackie, Milos, Junius and Melvin Pierre, aunts Violet Griffin, Maggie Honor, Vivian Degree, Josephine Hills, Dorothy Honor and Dolores Lewis and godchildren Phoebe Wilson, Darryl Honor Jr. and Kia Gray.

She was preceded in death by her parents Melvin Sr. and Sarah Honor, siblings Melvin Jr. and Mildred C. Williams and brother-in-law Donald R. Brown Sr.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Paradis, with interment in the church cemetery.
