LAPLACE — Rainbow Chevrolet in LaPlace announced this week that Guillermo “William” Paredes has been named their new General Sales Manager.

Paredes has been with Rainbow here in town for three years as the Finance Manager and Used Car Manager, after working for six years with Rainbow Oldsmobile on the West Bank.

With all car dealerships currently experiencing record sales following back-to-back hurricanes, Paredes said his top goal is to make sure customer service for regular customers stays at a peak.

“Yes, we’ve had amazing sales lately due to the hurricanes,” he said. “But that has made us focus even more on offering top customer satisfaction to anyone who comes through these doors.

“We have to do the right job for people all the time, regardless whether we are flooded with new car sales or not. If someone comes here for service of any kind, whether a sale or service, we want to make sure to do the job right so they will know this is the place to come back to,” he explained.

A member of Reserve Christian Church in Reserve, Paredes said his Christianity is an important key to everything he does, both professionally and personally.

“I’m a church member who knows that helping people should be our top intent here,” he said. “We want people to know that we are going to be fair and honest with everyone, trying to help them as much as possible.”

Paredes is married with four children.
