DES ALLEMANDS – Roy Patrick Brown, 67, a native of Marrero and a resident of Des Allemands, died Oct. 30. He was the husband of Jane Alexander Brown.

He is survived by his children Duane, Greg, Keith, Amy and Nathan Brown and Angela Brown Richard.

He is also survived by his mother Emelda Barrios Brown, siblings Rudy, Ray, Ronald and Rodney Brown and Ruth LeBlanc and Rachelle Pate, two grandsons, four granddaughters and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by his father Walton Alex Brown and an infant son.

Services were held on Nov. 2 at Mothe Funeral Home, Marrero.

DELAHOUSSAYE

PAULINA – Michael James Delahoussaye “Hoosie”, 20, a native and resident of Paulina, died Oct. 31. He was the son of Brian Delahoussaye and Michele W. Delahoussaye Martin.

He is survived by his sister Monica Delahoussaye, stepfather Todd Martin and stepsister Jamie Veron.

He is also survived by his grandparents Jimmie Sr. and Betty Wright, Quinton Sr. and Lucille Delahoussaye, niece and nephew Destanie and Dylan Ruiz.

Services were held Nov. 4 at Reserve Christian Church, Reserve, with interment in St. Joseph, Paulina.

FRILOUX

NEW SARPY – Vivian Mary Perilloux Friloux, 74, a native of Des Allemands and a resident of New Sarpy, died Nov. 1. She was the wife of the late Moise D. Friloux.

She is survived by her children Gerard (Robbin) Friloux, Frances (Steven) Mire, Kim and Phyllis Friloux and Lisa (Lennen) Madere.

She is also survived by her brother Larry Perilloux, brother and sister-in-laws Ann Zeringue, Timmy Friloux and Theresa Petit and grandchildren Michelle, Travis, Timmie and Holly Mire, Katie, Amy and Allison Friloux and Shelby, Lauryn and Lennen R. Madere.

She was preceded in death by her parents Andrew and Elida Dionne Perilloux, siblings Frances and Doris Perilloux and brother-in-laws Albert and Harold Friloux.

Services were held Nov. 4 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, with interment in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.

GREENUP

LUTCHER – Yvonne Keller Greenup, 62, a native of St. James and a resident of Lutcher died Oct. 28. She was the wife of the late George Greenup II.

She is survived by her children George (Nakeyta) Keller, Terrell (Sandreka) Greenup, Anna Greenup, Destry Keller and Walter Greenup.

She is also survived by her aunt Lillian Prejean, cousin Rose Simon and 15 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Luheartha and Antoine Keller and brothers Lawrence, James and Freddie Keller.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at St. Luke Baptist Church, St. James, with interment in the church cemetery.

The Baloney Funeral Home of Garyville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. at the church.

HAWKINS

NEW ORLEANS – Peter “Pete” Hawkins Jr., 81, a native and resident of New Orleans, died Oct. 29. He was the husband of the late Ida Mae Hawkins.

He is survived by his children Peter Hawkins III, Glady Stewart, Warren, Samuel Hawkins and Sheila Johnson.

He is also survived by his son and daughter-in-laws Oralee, Priscilla, Arletta,

KNOX

NORCO – Jimmie E. Knox Jr., 53, a native of Georgia and a resident of Norco, died Oct. 31. He was the husband of Linda Knox.

He is survived by his daughter Tamara Leigh Knox.

He is also survived by his parents Jimmie E. and Patti Knox and siblings Laura (Billy) Schilling, Susan (Adrian) Wallace, Timothy (Valleri) Knox, James B. Weber, Mark A. Weber, Susan Cambre and Nancy Donaldson.

Services were held Nov. 4 at First Baptist Church, Norco, with interment in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan.

MARTIN

PAULINA – Ethel Roussel Taylor Martin, 87, a native of Paulina and a resident of Baton Rouge and Plaquemine, died Oct. 31.

She was the wife by first marriage of the late Roland H. Martin Sr. and by second marriage of Willis Taylor.

She is survived by her son Roland Martin Jr. and stepchildren Lana LeJeune Lindsey, Wilton “Sonny” LeJeune, Ray LeJeune and Rob Alan LeJeune.

She is also survived by her siblings Helen R. Newman, Janet R. Domier, Ruth R. Minvielle, Octave T. Roussel Jr. and Nancy R. Stein.

Services were held Nov. 3 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment in the church mausoleum.

ROBICHAUX

DES ALLEMANDS – Elisabeth Torres Robichaux, 104, a resident of Des Allemands and New Orleans, died Sept. 7. She was the wife of the late Joel Robichaux.

She is survived by her brother Charles A. Torres.

She is also survived by nieces and nephews Bettie T. Melson, Pierre Ducos, Sandra T. Brechtel, Rick Torres, Rosalie T. Torres and Phillip H. Torres.

She was preceded in death by her parents Antoine E. Torres and Susannah Attenhoffer Torres and siblings Antoine Torres, Grace T. Anderson, Clothilde T. Ducos, Edith T. Steele and Fred F. Torres Sr.

Services were held Nov. 4 at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, Metairie.

TARANTO

ST. ROSE – Vincent Taranto Sr., 53, a native of New Orleans and a resident of St. Rose, died Oct. 31.

He was the son of Frances Uhlich Taranto Dugas and the late Joseph John Taranto Sr.

He is survived by his children Tami, Vincent Jr., Kristy, George, Jason and Brooke Taranto, Melissa Fairrow, Don Kagarise and Lisa Cressend.

He is also survived by his stepmother Theresa Darr, siblings Estelle Todaro, Frances Clark, Leon Taranto, Paul and Sterling Dugas, 19 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild Destiny Taranto.

He was preceded in death by his stepfather Donald Dugas and siblings Martha Wagner, Bruce and Joseph Taranto Jr.

Services were held Nov. 4 at the L.A. Muhielsen and Son Funeral Home Chapel, Kenner, with interment in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
