LAKE CHARLES – Martin Dean Hebert, 47, a native and resident of Lake Charles, died Aug. 24 in Baton Rouge. He was the husband of Rachael Hebert. He is survived by his daughter Sabrina Hebert.

He is also survived by his mother Rose Morgan, siblings Claudine Ory, Charlene Morgan, James Hebert and David Morgan.

He was preceded in death by his sister Rona Lewis.

Private services will be held by his family at Laccasine Cemetery, Laccasine.

EDGARD – Thaddeus “Ted” “Gas-Man” Jude Samuel, 52, a native and resident of Edgard, died Oct. 12. He was the husband of Olita Jasmine. He is survived by his daughter LaKeyta K. Samuel.

He is also survived by his parents Norman and Mildred Lumar Samuel, siblings Mayta Samuel, Margo (Louis) Joseph, Myra (Lawrence) Borne, brother and sister-in-laws Janice (Robert Lee)

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, LaPlace, with interment in St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, Edgard.

The Baloney Funeral Home of Garyville is in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 9 a.m. at the Kingdom Hall.
