LUTCHER – Charley Anderson Jr., 77, a native and resident of Lutcher, died July 14. He was the husband of Ethel Grant Anderson.

He is survived by his children Nedra, Trevor and Charley Lynzy Anderson.

He is also survived by siblings Loretta Belvin, Martha and Emelda Branch, Carolyn Graves, Marion Scott and Rev. Dale Branch, grandchildren Darrington, Ashanti, Kassidy, DarriYonne, Azure, Aaron, Aneas, Charley Lynzy Jr., Karley Lynn and Trevor Neil Jr. and friend Juanita Wallace.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charley Anderson Sr. and Alice Berryhill Anderson Branch, a daughter Shawna Anderson and siblings Alma Parquete, Dorothy Dupre, Eugene Branch and James Anderson Sr.

Services will be held July 22 at 11 a.m. at United Methodist Church Chapel, Lutcher, with interment in St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Paulina.

LULING – Kevin Michael Cange, 43, a native of Belleville, IL and a resident of Luling, died July 16.

He was the husband of Holly Boagni Cange.

He is survived by his children Jacob Martin Cange and Grace Elizabeth Cange.

He is also survived by his parents Bill and Joan Cange, son and daughter-in-law Chris and Sue Boagni, siblings Steven (Lisa) Cange, Jeffery Cange, Caroline (Timothy) Keys and nieces and nephews Stefan, Max, Natalie, Alexander, Andrew, Kevin, Mary Margaret, Luke and Taylor.

Services will be held today at 10 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling.

DES ALLEMANDS – Hilton “Nat” Duvernay, 80, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died July 14. He was the husband of Barbara B. Duvernay.

He is survived by his stepchildren Michael A. Broussard, Andre J. Broussard and Monique B. Lanier.

He is also survived by his siblings Marvin, Leo and Alton Duvernay, Joan Stricker, Edna Christopher and Jane Price and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Noel and Alice Lund Duvernay and a brother Noel Duvernay.

Services were held July 18 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, with interment in the church cemetery.

GARYVILLE – Marie Galpin Kaul, 88, a native of Garyville and a resident of Metairie, died July 16.

She was the mother of Jacob W. Kaul.

She is survived by her siblings Rosemary Schneckenburger and Irene Erdley.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Services were held July 19 at Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.

LaPlace

NEW SARPY – Earleen Troxclair LaPlace, 83, a native of New Sarpy and a resident of Sunshine and Baton Rouge. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. LaPlace Jr.

She is survived by her children Laura LaPlace Pearson, Joseph J. LaPlace III and Leo Kent LaPlace.

She is also survived by her siblings Winnie Perque, Jane Perilloux, Carol Troxclair and Michael Troxclair, nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Jeanne Troxclair, stepmother Rita Troxclair, daughter Mary Cynthia LaPlace, siblings Leo Troxclair, Joseph Oliver Troxclair, Delores Robert and granddaughter Kay Elizabeth LaPlace.

Services were held July 18 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, St. Gabriel, with interment in the church cemetery.

LAPLACE – Stephanie “Stevie” Restel Revolta, 42, a native of Lafayette and a resident of LaPlace, died July 13.

She was the wife of Joseph H. Revolta.

She is survived by her children Daniel R. Moldaner and Sabrina A. Moldaner.

She is also survived by her parents James D. and Wunita Restel, stepchildren David, Joshua and Nanci Revolta, siblings James Jr., Marianne, Michael and Lynn Restel, sister-in-laws Sylvia Kimball, Sandra Jimerson and Susan Warner and brother-in-laws Wayne Kimball, E.J. Revolta Jr. and John Jimerson.

Services were held July 18 at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with private interment.

ST. JAMES – Orchie Lee Robinson, 38, a native and resident of St. James, died July 14.

He was the son of the late Oscar Jr. and Jacqueline Spencer Robinson.

He is survived by his grandmother Burdette S. Breaud and siblings Leotha (Matthew) Dumas, Aaron, Keith and Kevin Robinson.

He was preceded in death by his brother Oscar Robinson III.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Brazier-Watson Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, with interment in Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, St. James.

LAPLACE – Nellie Triche Roddy, 94, a native and resident of LaPlace, died July 18. She was the wife of the late Earl J. Roddy.

She is also survived by her grandchildren Kathy F. Kidd, John A. Morton, James R. Morton and David B. Tregre, six great-grandchildren and three great great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her children Annette R. Ryan and Joan R. Johnston.

She is also survived her stepchildren Reginald Taylor, Alton Taylor Jr. and Jennifer McDonald, sister Barbara Senette, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

LUTCHER – Louis “Slow-Put-Put” Washington, 79, a native and resident of Lutcher, died July 16. He was the son of the late Lillie Mae Foster.

He is survived by his children Junious Lawrence and Alva (Penny) Coleman.

He is also survived by a son-in-law Nicholas Coleman, six grandchildren and numerous other relatives.

Services will be held July 21 at 11 a.m. at King Triumph Baptist Church, Lutcher, with interment in Western Cemetery, Lutcher.

ST. JAMES – Irving Antoine Zeringue, 85, a native of St. James and a resident of Metairie, died July 16.

He was the husband of the late Gladys B. Zeringue.

He is survived by his children Irving A. Zeringue Jr. and Valerie Z. Luker.

He is also survived by his siblings Enola Romer and Gertrude Devore, six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Marie Z. Thibodeaux, siblings Claire Breaux, Clarence, Henry, and Lynn Zeringue and one grandchild.

Services were held July 19 at the Chapel of Mothe Funeral Homes, Harvey, with interment in the St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Edgard.
