VACHERIE – Aimee Oubre Narcisse, 95, a native and resident of Vacherie, died July 2. She was the wife of the late Swifton Narcisse.

She is survived by her siblings Ursin and Armalise Oubre.

She was preceded in death by her parents Armalise and Catherine Oubre.

Services will be held today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie, with interment in the church cemetery.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation at the church begin at 8 a.m.

HAHNVILLE – Lynwood James “Chill” Walker Sr., 55, a native of Edgard and a resident of Hahnville, died June 29.

He was the husband of Mary Toney Walker.

He is survived by his children Lynwood Walker Jr., Mornique Walker and Kimberly (Terreance) Plowden.

He is also survived by his siblings Nathaniel (Mary) Walker, Grant (Jacqueline) Walker, Margo (Helmond) Lumar, Avis Alexander and Demetre (Kerry) Bailey and godchildren Brandon Lumar, Aviola Adam, Michael and Sylvaen Boudoin.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Melba A. Walker, daughter Marsha A. Walker and godchild Dorian Boudoin.

Services were held July 5 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment in the St. John Catholic Church.

LAPLACE – Rev. Samuel E. Warren Sr., 72, a native of LaPlace and a resident of Metairie, died June 29. He was the husband of Jerry J. Warren.

He is survived by his children Samuel Jr., Terry and Timothy Warren, Kathy Gibson, Sandra Jean Angel, Patsy Porter and Denise Christy.

He is also survived by his stepchildren Kristie Johns, Annette Edwards, Felix and Roy Kinzy, siblings Benjamin Warren, Evola Keller, Clora M. Clark, Selena Paul and Mary Boatner, 18 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Greater Morning Star Baptist Church, LaPlace, with interment in the Providence Rest Haven, LaPlace.

Hobson-Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation at the church begins at 8 a.m.
