ST. ROSE – Felicie D. Catanzaro, 91, a native of Sunshine and a resident of St. Rose, died June 26.

She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Frances DiGirolamo Catanzaro.

She is survived by her siblings Mary C. Bader and Lena Leggio.

She was preceded in death by her siblings Annie C. Gendusa, Mike Catanzaro, Nick Catanzaro and Jose Cardella.

Services were held July 1 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, with interment in the church cemetery.

GARYVILLE – Gloria J. Pidgeon Desselle, 56, a native and resident of Garyville, died June 26.

She was the wife of Percy Desselle.

She is survived by her children Garland N. Collins, Andreana Desselle-Hirsch, Rosalyn Scott and Dana Davenport.

She is also survived by her parents Detroit and Edith Pidgeon, siblings Detroit, Donald and Ronald Pidgeon, Dolores McCoy, Brenda Duhe and Deborah Nelson and nine grandchildren.

Services were held June 30 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment in the St. Peter Catholic Church Cemetery.

LAPLACE – Helen C. Holley, 83, a native of Marksville and a resident of LaPlace, died June 27. She was the wife of the late Raymond J. Holley.

She is survived by her children Raymond Jr. and Donald Holley, Brenda Blakley and Carolyn Gratia.

She is also survived by her siblings Harold and Jackie Constance, Dorothy Amrhein and Judy Metrejean, 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Norman and Josephine Constance, daughter Linda Holley and siblings Lester, Norman Jr. and Bobby Constance, Ella Mae Womack, Hilda Thompson, Mable Watson and Lorraine Thornhill.

Services were held June 30 at the Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment in the St. John Memorial Garden, LaPlace.

LULING – Katherine Faye Johnson, 57, a native of Ama and a resident of Luling, died June 23. She was the wife of Louis Johnson.

She is survived by her children Jemel Johnson Sr., Tyrone Gomez Johnson and Javonna Clarissa Johnson.

She is also survived by her mother Violet Hills Griffin, siblings Melba Rankin, Bernice Mott, Emily D. Griffin, Lloyd A. Griffin III, Bruce A. Griffin and Sonjia M. Griffiin and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd Andrew Griffin Jr.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Paradis, with interment in the church cemetery.

Robottom Mortuary in Reserve is in charge of arrangements. Visitation at the church begins at 9 a.m.

KILLONA – Melburn Louis Landeche, 84, a native of Killona and a resident of Metairie, died June 28. He was the husband of Mazel Mitchell Landeche.

He is survived by his children Dianne Jobe, Patsy Lundin, Sherry Gorman and Janice Ricks.

He is also survived by his siblings Anna Belle DeBautte and Mildred BeBautte, 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Julia Haydel Landeche, child “Little Butch” Landeche and siblings Claudia St. Pierre, Gertrude Berthelot, Lise Gendron, Urbin, Nolan, Terrace, Alphonse and Earl Landeche.

Services were held July 1 at L.A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment in Lake Lawn Park.

LIONS – Royal G. Ory, 75, a native of Lions and a resident of Terrytown, died June 26. He was the husband of Melodie Lougue Ory.

He is survived by his children Laurie Joan Stephens, Morgan, Mervin, Bryan and Roddy Ory.

He is also survived by his siblings Ray E. and Ronald J. Ory, 17 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were held June 29 at the Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Marrero, with interment in the Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna.

NORCO – Marilyn Colon Trepagnier, 71, a native and resident of Norco, died June 27. She was the wife of Mitchel J. Trepagnier.

She is survived by her children Aurelia Colon, Chris and John Trepagnier and Andree Trepagnier Weber.

She is also survived by her siblings Percy J. Colon Jr., Harriet Clark and Pamela King and one grandson Tristan Nicholas Trepagnier.

Services were held June 29 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norco.
