LULING – Orion “O” Ernst, 42, a native and resident of Luling, died May 27. He was the husband of Lila T. Ernst.

He is survived by his parents Frank and Dorothy Ernst and stepdaughter Monica Williams.

He is also survived by five grandchildren, siblings Kevin Ernst, Darla McBroom and Dana Hull, and nieces and nephews Meghan McBroom, Steven Ernst, Dr. Shelley Haydel, Susan Haydel, Julianne Courtney and Hayden Hull.

Services were held June 2 at the Samart Funeral Home, Raceland.

FAVORITE

VACHERIE – Antoine “Dime” Favorite, 84, a native of Vacherie and resident of New Orleans, died May 27. He was the father Harold Favorite.

He is survived by his sister Louise Schexnayder.

He is also survived by two grandchildren Antoinette and Jeffery.

Services and interment were held May 30 at the St. Philip Catholic Church Cemetery, Vacherie.

GENDRON

LUCY – Lise Landeche Gendron, 100, a native of Montz and a resident of Lucy, died June 1. She was the wife of the late Jules Gendron.

She is survived by her children Jerry (Jean) Gendron, Virgil Gendron, and Sylvia Boudreaux.

She is also survived by her siblings Milburn Landeche, Anna Belle DeBautte and Mildren DeBautte, 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

Services were held June 3 at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with interment in the church cemetery.

JOHNSON

ST. ROSE – Charlie T. Johnson Sr., 82, a native of St. Rose and a resident of River Ridge. He was the husband of John A. Johnson.

He is survived by his children Charlie Johnson Jr., Alfred Johnson Sr., Rosalind Lattier, Charlene Carroll and Marilyn Johnson.

He is also survived by his stepson Arthur Jackson, stepdaughter Mary Jackson, his siblings Joseph, Anthony and Claude Eugene, Virginia Bujol, Dorothy Harris, Lorita Jenkins, Estelle Bush, 29 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Services were held June 3 at Oakland Baptist Church, Kenner, with interment in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens.

LOUIS

EDGARD – Lloyd Louis, 73, a native of Edgard and a resident of Marrero, died May 27. He was the husband of Revonne Louis by second marriage and of the late Marynell Louis by first marriage.

He is survived by his children Carolyn, Sheena, Ida, Marion, Lloyd Jr. and Tony.

He is also survived by his stepdaughter Joyce Hughes, his siblings Felma, Bertha, Lovinia, Rosetta, Donna, Deloris, Wilson, Isaac, James, Gilbert, Joseph, Solomon and Norma.

Services were held on June 2 at the Davis Mortuary Service, Marrero, with interment in the Westlawn Cemetery, Gretna.

MADERE

LAPLACE – Ida Mae Millet Madere, 84, a native and resident of LaPlace, died May 31. She was the wife of the late Raymond Madere.

She is survived by Mary M. Jacob, Jimmy (Sandra) Madere, Craig (Debby) Madere and Lydia (Chris) Ocmand.

She is also survived by six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her siblings Edward Millet Jr., Edna LeBlanc and Aline Beal.

Services were held June 2 at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, with interment in the St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

SENIA

DESTREHAN – Yvonne Duffy Senia, 73, a native of Greenfield, Missouri and a resident of Destrehan, died May 26. She was the wife of Rocco A. Senia.

She is survived by her children Steven Cox, Danny Cox, Robin Cole and Vickie Barthel.

She is also survived by her stepdaughter Rhonda Watson, her brother Max Duffy, sisters Phyllis Hunt and Kay Meyers, 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services were held May 31 at the L.A. Muhleison and Son Funeral Home, Kenner, with private interment.

TAMBURELLO

NEW SARPY – Norman G. Tamburello, 75,a native and resident of New Sarpy, died May 26.

He was the husband of Helen T. Tamburello.

He is survived by his children Philip (Lorraine) Tamburello, Michael Tamburello Sr. and Sheila (Mickey) Cadow.

He is also survived by his brothers Joseph and Victor Tamburello, sisters Mary T. St. Martin, Lena T. Smagacz and Carrie T. Bourque, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held June 1 at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, with interment in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.

H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco was in charge of arrangements.

WILLIAMS

RESERVE – Jacob A. Williams, 14 months, a native and resident of Reserve, died June 2.

He was the son of Adam and Michelle Brouwer Williams.

He is survived by his sibling Morgan Williams and his grandparents Michael and Cheri Williams, Michael Brouwer and the late Ina Brouwer.

Services will be held today at 1 p.m. at the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, with interment in the St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

Millet-Guidry Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation begins at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
