ST. ROSE – Josephine C. Cardella, 79, a native of St. Rose and a resident of Metairie, died April 29. She was the wife of Angelo P. Cardella.

She is survived by her sons Russell M., Anthony J. “Tony”, Michael A. “Mike” and Charles Cardella.

She is also survived by her sisters Mamie Bader, Felicie Catanzaro and Lena Leggio and nine grandchildren.

Services were held May 2 at the Chapel of Lamana-Panno-Fallo Funeral Home, Metairie, with internment in Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans.

DEMARCO

RESERVE – Russell “Ross” DeMarco, 78, a native and resident of Reserve, died April 30. He was the son of the late Anthony and Virginia DeMarco.

He is survived by his siblings Rosalle D. Zappula, Josie DeMarco, Salvador DeMarco and Joseph DeMarco.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Stella Cortez and Mamie Cashio and his brother Anthony DeMarco Jr.

Services were held May 3 at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, with internment in the church cemetery.

BLAYLOCK

LULING – James Daniel “J.D.” Blaylock, 85, a native of El Dorado, Arkansas and resident of Luling, died May 1. He was the husband of Anna Miles Blaylock.

He is survived by his sons Martin and wife Carman Blaylock and Kenny Blaylock.

He is also survived by his brother and sister Charles Blaylock and Alma Smead and one grandson James Daniel Blaylock.

Services will be held today at 2 p.m. At the First Baptist Church of Luling, Luling, with internment in the Earnest Cemetery, Calhoun County, Arkansas.

Visitation begins at 12:30 p.m.

DAVIS

LUTCHER – Thomas Davis, 61, a native of Garyville and resident of Lutcher, died April 23. He was the father of Brenda and Quhan Davis.

Services were held April 30 at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Garyville, with internment in the Romeville Cemetery, Romeville.

LANCASTER

PARADIS – Tracy Diamond Lancaster Jr., 63, a native of Paradis and resident of Arabi, died April 27. He was the husband of Phyllis Puglia Lancaster.

He is survived by his sons Derek, David and Darren Lancaster.

He is also survived by his siblings Ron and Burt Lancaster, Sharon Lancaster Banas and four grandchildren.

Services were held April 30 at the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, Chalmette, with internment in the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery.

GREAUD

NORCO – Anna Marie Furrate Greaud, 84, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Norco, died May 1. She was the wife of the late Cletus A. Greaud Sr.

She is survived by her children Cletus A. Greaud Jr., Jean G. Buller, Timothy J. Greaud, Terry W. Greaud, Louis R. Greaud, Janet G. Keen, Judith G. Perry and Patrick J. Greaud.

She is also survived by her siblings Louis C. Furrate and Francis A. Furrate and 15 grandchildren.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco, with internment in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.

H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Norco is in charge of arrangements.

BURKERT

LULING – Verna St. Amant Burkert, 78, a native of Luling and a resident of River Ridge, died April 30. She was the wife of the late Max E. Burkert Sr.

She is survived by her children Cyrel B. Antonatos, Max E. Burkert Jr.

She is also survived by her siblings Mary S. Norfleet, Margaret S. Fiegenschue and Dennis J. St. Amant Jr. and four grandchildren Craig and Chad Antonatos and Hunter and Hayden Burkert.

Services were held on May 3 at the Lakelawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel, Metairie, with internment in the Metairie Cemetery.

DUHE

RESERVE – Lucille Cambre Duhe, 96, a native and resident of Reserve, died May 1. She was the wife of the late Early Duhe Sr.

She is survived by her children Early J. Duhe Jr., Marie Guydan and Laura McDonnell.

She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held today at noon at the St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, with internment in the church cemetery.

Visitation begins at 10 a.m.
