GRAND POINT – Ada Martin Wilday, 77, a native of Grand Point and a resident of Marrero, died April 27. She was the wife of the late Eddie Wilday.

She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Wilday and grandson Val Wilday.

She is also survived by two great-grandchildren Valerie and Danielle Johnson, two sisters Anna Mae Bourgeois and Doris St. Pierre and her brother Percy Martin.

Services will be held today at 11 a.m. At the St. Joseph Church, Paulina, with internment in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.

H.C. Alexander Funeral Home of Lutcher is in charge of arrangements.

VACHERIE – Laura Marie Faucheux Scioneaux, 57, a native and resident of Vacherie, died April 27. She was the wife of Ronald P. Scioneaux.

She is survived by her two sons Shane and Jason Scioneaux.

She is also survived by her brother Paul Zeringue, her sisters Elizabeth Zeringue and Claire Tassin and three grandchildren.

Services were held April 29 at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, Vacherie, with internment in the church mausoleum.
