DES ALLEMANDS – Harry Scott Jr., 65, a native of Des Allemands and a resident of Raceland, died April 3. He was the husband of Odera J. Scott.

He is survived by his children, Yvette Cannon, Tyrone Smith, Yvette Harper, Beverly Woods and Octavia Price.

He is also survived by eight step-children, three brothers, one sister, 30 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services were April 11 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Boutte, with internment in the Mt. Airy Memorial Park Cemetery, Boutte.

Gaubert

LAPLACE – Randall J. Gaubert, 43, a native and resident of LaPlace, died April 8. He was the husband of Dawn Miller Gaubert.

He is survived by his children Eddie and Ricky Gaubert.

He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Donnie, Irby Jr. and Karen Gaubert and three step-sisters.

Services were April 12 at the Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church, LaPlace, with internment in the St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

Chauvin

NORCO – Randy Paul Chauvin, 39, a resident of Norco, died April 8. He was the son of Allan “Buddy” and Joyce Griffin Chauvin.

He is survived by his children, Dustin Bourg, Victoria Lynn and Heidi Chauvin.

He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Rhonda and Michael George, nephews Travis McWilliams and Brandon Chauvin, and his niece Brandi Chauvin.

Services were held April 11 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Norco, with internment in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.

Stevens

ST. ROSE – Lisa Morgan Stevens, 32, a native and resident of St. Rose, died April 8. She was the wife of Micheal Stevens.

She is survived by her two sons, Jimmy P. Gauthier and Joshua M. Stevens.

She is also survived by her mother, Sandra Morgan and her brother Kenneth Morgan, Jr.

Services are April 14 at the L.A. Muhleisen and Son Funeral Home, Kenner, with internment in the Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose.

Jacob

RESERVE – Walton Paul Jacob, 65, a native of Reserve and a resident of Kenner, died April 8. He was the husband of Josephine Dinicola Jacob.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Jeannine and Mark Murphy Sr.

He is also survived by his brother Irvin Jacob and two sisters, Mabel J. Weber and Barbara J. Jones and two grandchildren, Nathan and Dalton Murphy.

He was preceded in death by his parents Alphonsia and Nemour Jacob Sr. and four brothers, Raymond, Thomas, Chester and Nemour Jacob Jr.

Services are today at 11 a.m. at the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Kenner, with internment in the Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie.

Roussel

GRAMERCY – Ethel A. Roussel, 80, a native of Luling and a resident of Gramercy, died April 11. She was the wife of Wallace Roussel.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Gilson J. and Linda A. Roussel and her daughter, Brenda R. Plaisance.

She is also survived by her sister Gloria A. Blank, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother Edsel Abadie.

Services are today at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Gramercy, with internment in the St. Joseph Mausoleum, Paulina.

Cali

LAPLACE – Mattie Copponex Cali, 64, a native of Lutcher and resident of LaPlace, died April 9. She was the wife of the late Mike Cali.

She is survived by her two children, Michael “Mickey” Cali Jr. And Jacqueline “Jackie” Crouch.

She is also survived by three grandchildren, Stephen, Susan and Julie Crouch and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Aurora Copponex and her sisters, Pearl Parent, Grace Millet and Bessie Parrino.

Services are today at 11 a.m. At the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, LaPlace, with internment at a later date.

Davis

LAPLACE – Denise “Denny” Davis, 93, a native of San Francisco, CA and a resident of Norco and LaPlace, died April 6. She was the wife of the late James “Don” Davis.

She is survived by her two children, James “Jim” Davis and Paula D. Prat.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother James D. Donlon.
