AUCOIN

METAIRIE – Ethel Dolores Land Aucoin, 92, a native of New Orleans, former resident of Cuba and resident of Luling for 50 years, died Jan. 22. She was the mother of Mary Ann “Mamie” Belcher and Lawrence Aucoin Jr.

She was also the sister of Joe and Edward Land.

She is also survived by five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were Jan. 24 in the chapel of Leitz-Egan Funeral Home, Marrero, with interment at Garden of Memories.

GUEDRY

DESTREHAN – Michel Joseph “Cado” Guedry Sr., 75, a resident of New Sarpy, died Jan. 20. He was the husband of the late Floriska “Icky” Simoneaux Guedry, and father of Debbie Roussel, Melanie Duvic and Donna Guedry. He was also the companion of Modesta Gagliano.

He was also the brother of Josephine Barrient, Edith Ancale, Carol Sutton, Roger and Sidney Guedry.

He is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the American Legion.

Services were Jan. 24 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, with interment at the church mausoleum.

HAMILTON

MARRERO – Ila “Jo” Hamilton, 80, a resident of Vacherie, died Jan. 21. She was the wife of the late James M. Hamilton, and mother of Janice Viallon, Leanne Pfister, Rhonda Branson and Tommy Hamilton.

She was also the daughter of the late John and Effie Fulmer Stewart, and sister of Barbara Bell, Thaddeus “Pat” Skeen, John Stewart, and the late Grace McLean, Helen Mandaglio, helen. W.O., Effie and Thurston Stewart.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services were Jan. 24 in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, Marrero, with interment at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna.

KOLLMAN

LUTCHER – Doris Anne Duhe Kollman, 83, a native of Lutcher and resident of Metairie, died Jan. 21.

She was the wife of 63 years of Albert E. Kollman and mother of Donna Gordon, Susan DuPlessis and Jerry Kollman.

She was also the daughter of the late Claude and Electra Borne Duhe, and sister of Electra Copponex, Gertie Millet, Elva Gagliano, Julie Sanchez, Betty Oswald, Alice Copponez, Milton Duhe, and the late Odella Louque, Norman, Kenneth, Kramer, Valree, Allen, Lester and C.J. Duhe.

She is also survived by five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by one grandchild.

Services were Jan. 25 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment at the church cemetery.

PERRILLOUX

RESERVE – Mary Perrilloux, 87, a native and resident of Reserve, died Jan. 20. She was the wife of Rodney Perrilloux and mother of MarvIn Sr., Paul Sr., and the late Michael Perrilloux.

She was also the daughter of the late Octavia Landry and Abraham Wilson.

She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

Services were Jan. 25 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.

RICHARD

DESTREHAN – Adele Dufresne Richard, 94, a native of LaPlace and resident of Norco for 69 years, died Jan. 22. She was the wife of the late Paul Richard, and mother of Merrill Zeringue, and the late Paul Richard Jr.

She was also the daughter of the late Louise Camore and Alfred Dufresne, and sister of Marie Hanson, and the late Evena Louquette, Willie Millet, Thelma Blank, Vivian Landry, Clarence, Henry and Wilton Dufresne.

She is also survived by two grandchildren.

She was a member of the St. Charles Art Guild, German-Acadian Coast Historical Society, River Road Historical Society and Bonnet Carre Garden Club. She was also a Red Cross volunteer and Cub Scout leader. She also worked closely with her husband in the operation of Richard’s Department Store.

Services are today at 11 a.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, with interment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m.

SIMON

NORCO – Dorothy Joachim Simon, 82, a former resident of St. Bernard Parish and a resident of LaPlace for seven years, died Jan. 21. She was the wife of the late John F. Simon, and mother of Dorothy Loga and Gaynell Melerine.

She was also the daughter of the late Albert and Marie Dauterive Joachim, and sister of the late Helen Soniat and Albert Joachim.

She is also survived by three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were Jan. 25 in the chapel of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Norco, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.

WEBRE

EDGARD – Anna Louise Usea Webre, 78, a native of Kraemer and resident of Edgard for 60 years, died Jan. 23.

She was the wife of Rene Webre and mother of Catherine Cortez, Margaret Borne, Sheila Landry, Sarah Roberts, Sandy Cortez, Gail Bumgarden, Michael, Ralph, Rodney, Bobby, David and Wayne Webre, and the late Gary Webre.

She was also the daughter of the late Wilson and Clalie Usea, and sister of Lee Granier, Sylvia Rousselle, Bertha Wilson, Barbara Corpion, Larry, Ronald and Kenneth Usea, and the late Florence Dempster, Bradley and George Usea.

She is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.

Services are today at 11 a.m., at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9:30 a.m.
