St. Peter Chanel Pre-kindergarten students in Ms. Sue’s class enjoy Kicking It Up A Notch!
One day they received this mysterious “BAM” bag. In the bag were 30 Popsicle sticks, 4 Mardi Gras beads, a jump rope, and a punching balloon.
There was also a note saying to use these materials to make a recipe for a lesson. Well, the Pre-K students were learning about shapes and sizes that week so they worked in groups and used the popsicle sticks, beads, and jump rope to make different shapes and they compared the sizes.
As a closure to the lesson they put all the materials together to make a hot air balloon and talked about far away trips they would like to take! BAM!
The bag has now traveled to another classroomÅ stay tuned to see what they do to Kick It Up A Notch!
