You have often heard this old saying; money grows on trees and that is why banks have so many branches. Is there any truth to this saying at all? Let’s look into the scriptures.

Psalms 1:1-3 says Blessed (empowered to prosper) is that man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and his law doth he meditate day and night,and he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf shall not wither: and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The Word of God often uses the word tree to describe the believrs in the scriptures, this particular passage indicates that we (the believers who obey) shall be empowered to prosper if we obey the Word of God.

In order for the money to grow on trees(we are the trees) we must obey God’s Word completely. Malahi 3:10-11 obeying the Word will always cause you to have more than enough, we must work the proces we cannot give sparingly or grudgingly, we must give cheerfully,hilariously and filled with excitement.

Remember God continues to look at the heart and in due season you will reap, God is not mocked what ever a man sow he must reap Hallelujah!

If you do not obey God’s Word you will always struggle because you open the door to a curse upon your life, but if you give your tithes and offerings giving into good soil God will cause His Spirit to breathe on your finances, God is moved by your seed.

So shake your tree by your giving and see God prosper your life.
