Anna Luminais and Timothy Luminais of LaPlace announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Shana Marie Luminais of LaPlace, to Shane Paul Banquer of Norco, son of Patricia Dufresne of Metairie and Duglas Banquer of Metairie.

The couple plan to marry April 16 at St. Peter Church in Reserve, with Father Tuan Pham officiating. A reception at The Balcony in Metairie will follow the ceremony.

The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Riverside Academy and a 2003 graduate of Delgado Community College with a degree in Radiological Technology. She is currently employed at River Parishes Hospital.

The bridegroom is a 1997 graduate of Destrehan High School and he is currently employed by B & G Crane, Harahan.
