The descendants of Jean Ambrose “Tatoon” Duhe (1887-1974) and Bernadette Battard Duhe (1892-1967) will hold a family reunion April 24 at the American Legion Home in Reserve, LA.

The couple was married on April 30, 1914 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Reserve, LA.

They had 11 children. Jules, Antoine, Albert, Jean, Lawrence, James and Errol Duhe and Bernadette Oubre, Aline Gueret, Claire Michel and Ann Torres. They had 24 grandchildren.

Jean Ambrose was the son of Jean Melancon Duhe and Marie Eve Vicknair.

Bernadette Battard was the daughter of Jules Battard and Aimee Clement.
