Reverend Benjamin Piovan, founding and active pastor of Ascension of Our Lord parish, was surrounded by friends and parishioners as he celebrated his 40th year of priestly Ordination on Saturday, March 20th. Archbishop Philip Hannan (retired) was the celebrant at a special mass of thanksgiving. A buffet at St. Charles Catholic H.S. followed as many people spoke about the life and many accomplishments of Fr. Piovan. A slide show was presented to the 400 plus guest who were on hand to help Fr. Benny celebrate this special occasion.
