Spring Fest set by Arc in Luling

BOUTTE – The Arc of St. Charles plans their fourth annual Spring Festival, with a cornecopia of entertainment and attractions.
Sue Agnelly of The Arc said the event is set at the West Bridge Park in Luling on March 27, 10 a.. to 6 p.m.
Attracitions include a chocolate bake-off, autograph signings by New Orleans Saint Joe Horn, the St. Charles Parish Student Jazz Band, an Easter egg hunt, the Des Allemands Cajun Dancers, music by Jeff Whitlett, 14 craft booths, the Bloodmobile, the Audubon Zoomobile, the Shriners Clowns and the Luling Volunteer Fire Department smoke trailer.
The bake-off contest is open to the public for a $10 entry fee. A $100 first-prize is offered, with cash awards for second and third places.
A “People’s Choice” award will also be presented, and attendees will judge that contest, which will be rewarded by a chocolate trophy.
