St. John
BOUDREAUX
PAULINA – Erney Martin Boudreaux, 52, a native and resident of Paulina, died March 8. He was the husband of Sheila Guillory Boudreaux and the father of Erney Boudreaux and Brook Boudreaux.
He also was the brother of DeWayne, Bruce and Ronnie Boudreaux, Debra Stelly, Dolly Moreau and Jackie Pitre.
Services will be March 11 at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Paulina. Visitation will be today from 6 – 10 p.m. and Thursday starting at 8 a.m.
CLEMENT
Lillie Mae Clement, 67, a resident of LaPlace, died March 6. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence (Loule) and Simone Vicknair Clement, and the sister of Daniel Clement and Marian C. Prudhomme, Faye C. Marse, and the late L.J., Harold, Dwight and Lorraine Clement.
She was also the aunt of Paula, Perry, Tammy, Dwight, Jr., Thad, Jason, Ratchel and Kenny, Jr. She was also the great-aunt of Lester III, Heather, Kyle, Perry Jr., Mandy, Raelyn, Dayton, Amber, Wyatt, Brittney, Shane, Mason, Hunter and Michael.
Services were March 9 in the chapel of Millet-Guidry Funeral Home, LaPlace, with interment at St. John Memorial Gardens Cemetery, LaPlace.
HORN
Raymond E. “Jack” Horn, Jr., M.D., 82, a native of San Benito, Texas, and resident of Gretna, died March 4.
He was the son of the late Raymond Edwin Horn and Ethel Parker Horn Underwood.
He was the husband of Marilyn Levy Horn and father of Stacy Koch, Raymond III, John, Michael, Mar and Kathleen Horn.
He is also survived by one grandchild. He is preceded in death by one grandchild.
He served in World War II with the combat engineers on Luzon and landed in Yokahama during the early occupation of Japan.
Horn was a graduate of LSU Medical School and practiced as a general practitioner and surgeon in Reserve for 14 years.
He then completed a residency in orthopedics and founded the Bone and Joint Clinic in Marrero.
Horn was a member and past president of the Jefferson Parish Medical Society and past chief of staff of West Jefferson Medical Center.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a lifetime member and sponsor of Ducks Unlimited and a lifetime member and past president of the Coastal Conservation Association.
Services were March 8 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home. Interment was private.
LUMAR
Teresa ‘Tee Tee’ Gauthier Lumar, 37, a native and resident of Edgard, died Feb. 28.
She was the wife of Carl Lumar, mother of Malika Gauthier and stepmother of Brittney and Amber Davis.
She was also the daughter of George and Josepha Gauthier and sister of Dale, Darren, Anthony, Ronald and Donald, Joan Gauthier and Lora Gauthier.
Services were March 8 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard.
MARTIN
PAULINA – Stella Mae Rome Martin, 77, a native of Vacherie and a resident of Paulina, died March 7.
She was the wife of Harry Martin Sr. and the mother of Dianne Matherne, Sandra Kliebert, Danette Alleman, Harry Martin Jr., Keith Martin, Dale Martin, and the late Donald Martin.
She also was the daughter of the late Frozin Rome and Noemie Becnel, and the sister of Noelie (Nell) Martin. Ferdinand Rome, Jean Paul Rome, Joyce Poche, Gertrude Guidry, Beverly St. Pierre, Janice Nobile and Richard Rome, and the late Francis (Frank) Rome Anthony Rome and Margaret Rome
She is survived by 10 grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Paulina, with interment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
