Lafon honored as tech-savvy

Luling – Supt. Rodney Lafon, will be honored by eSchool News as 1 of 10 “Tech-Savvy” superintendents across the country in San Francisco on February 21st.

eSchool News, the nation’s only education technology newspaper, recognizes 10 of the nation’s top K-12 executives for their leadership and vision in the area of educational technology.

Each superintendent to be honored was instrumental in the development and implementation of its district-wide technology plan along with ensuring that technology resources are equitably distributed among students and staff.
