LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the following recent arrests:

€ Darryl A. Brousseau, 52, 1720 Creole St., LaPlace, domestic violence and simple battery.

€ Dennis Edwards, 45, 1817 Ridgefield Drive, LaPlace, simple battery and simple criminal damage to property.

€ Lowell R. McKee, 59, 118 Montegut St., LaPlace, two counts being a fugitive from another agency.

€ Natalie Shauntell Ory, 23, 107 Courville Court, LaPlace, simple assault and simple criminal damage to property.

€ Roland Ellis Brumfield, 21, 3511 Arkansas Ave., Kenner, sexual battery by fondling, simple battery and probation violation.

€ Clark Crawley, 62, 843 Camp St., New Orleans, remaining in places after being forbidden and resisting an officer by refusing to move on.

€ Tyra Lee Joseph, 28, 503 Homewood Place, Reserve, shoplifting theft of items valued between $100 and $500.

€ Tryan D. Holden, 23, 253 Joe Parquet Circle, LaPlace, two counts each of second-degree battery and domestic violence; and one count each of disturbing the peace by fighting, resisting an officer by simple violence, simple criminal damage to property and parole violation.

St. Charles Parish

HAHNVILLE – St. Charles Parish Sheriff Greg C. Champagne reported the following recent arrests:

€ Michael Broussard, 44, 2257 Lumas Road, Deridder, aggravated battery. Capt. Patrick Yoes reported that Broussard allegedly pulled his wife off the bed by her arms, legs and hair and allegedly attempted to choke her.

€ Ross Barrios, 33, 179 Barrios Lane, Des Allemands, theft of items valued at more than $500, resisting arrest by flight, driving on the levee and reckless operation of a motor vehicle.

Yoes reported that Barrios allegedly stole a victim’s wallet, containing cash and credit cards.

When deputies tried to take him into custody, Yoes continued, Barrios failed to stop for police, forced vehicles off the roadway along River Road in Ama and drove his vehicle onto the levee.

€ Kevin J. Savoie, 50, 180 W. First St., Boutte, possession of cocaine.

€ Clayton Sledge, 21, 17044 S. I-12 Service Road, Hammond, DWI and improper lane use.

€ Doug Russell, 28, 214 Murray Hill Drive, Destrehan, DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and open container violation.
