Press Release

Employees at River Parishes Hospital helped Santa’s elves this year by purchasing clothes and toys to be donated to needy families for Christmas. The hospital courier delivered boxes filled with presents to 12 needy families in St. John Parish through the St. John Ministry of Care.

“This is community-oriented hospital and most of our employees have lived in this community all of their lives,” said Tammy Waltz, Marketing Assistant. “They know most of these families, either through the community or the hospital. They look forward to being able to help them celebrate the joy of the holiday season.”
