FOX
HAHNVILLE – Landry Fox, 93, a native of Wallace and resident of Hahnville, died April 30. He was the husband of the late Beatrice J. Fox, and father of Ethel Russell.
He was also the son of the late Isadore and Celestine Fox, stepson of the late Marshall Franklin Sr., brother of Mary Jackson, Martha Gross, Matthew and Isiah Franklin Sr., and the late Susan Davis, Noella Rivers and Marshall Franklin Jr.
He is also survived by one grandchild.
Services were May 3 at True Vine Baptist Church, Hahnville, with interment at Bethlehem Cemetery, Hahnville.
JONES
RESERVE – Ethel M. Jones, 48, a native of Reserve and resident of LaPlace, died April 29. She was the mother of Kelly, Corey and Glenn Jones Jr.
She was also the daughter of Esther Faure Landry, stepdaughter of Clarence Landry, and sister of Esther Carney, Sheila Lennix, Estelle Burfict, Evelyn Smith, Sherry Joseph, Sylvia Pable, Howard Richardson, Hebert Lopex, Hayward Jr., Hiran and Harry Acker.
She is also survived by two grandchildren.
She was a park attendant for Orleans Parish.
Services were May 3 at Beech Grove Baptist Church, Reserve, with interment at Garden of Memories Cemetery, Metairie.
KUHN
RESERVE – Oren Tate Hunter Kuhn was stillborn May 2. He was the son of Billy and Melissa Kuhn of Albany and brother of Billy Kuhn Jr.
He was also the grandchild of Ranney and Karen Wilson of LaPlace, and the late Joseph and Patricea Kuhn. He was also the great-grandchild of Carmen Wilson and Dorothy Ory.
Graveside services were May 6 at St. Peter Cemetery.
MAYO
ST. JAMES – Vivian Trepagneir “Goose” Mayo, 85, a native and resident of St. James, died May 1. She was the wife of Foster Mayo and mother of Florida Rodrigue, Betty Frazier, Angelia Landry, Judith Gaudia, Claire, Clifford, Robert and Lester Mayo, and the late Stephen Roy, Norman, Harold and Melba Mayo. She was also the guardian of Troye Ellis-Porche and David Mayo.
She was also the daughter of the late Amadee Sr. and ella Sutherland Trepagnier, and sister of Amadee Trepagnier, and the late Mable Phillips, Margaret Lewis, Whitney, Fred, Clifford and Lloyd Trepagnier.
She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Services were May 6 at St. James Catholic Church, St. James, with interment at the church cemetery.
SCOTT
CONVENT – Samuel Scott Jr., 59, a native of Convent and resident of New Orleans, died April 29. He was the husband of Deborah Davis Scott and father of Keith and Trumaine Scott.
He was also the son of the late Samuel Sr. and Bessie Lewis Scott, and brother of Gloria Addison, and the late Rosana Scott.
Services were May 6 at Pilgrim Baptist Church, Convent, with interment at the church cemetery.
WALKER
NEW SARPY – Beverly Walker, 49, a native and resident of New Sarpy, died April 26. She was the mother of Dwayne Stephen Jr. and Derwin Walker.
She was also the daughter of Margaret Blue Payne, and the late Arthur Morris, stepdaughter of Edward Payne Sr., sister of Elaine Williams, Brenda Dobbins, Regina and Wanda Morris, Diane Riley, Arthur II, Erwin, Larry, Terry and Ronald Morris, and stepsister of Aristile Smith and Edward Payne Jr.
She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Services were May 3 at St. Matthew Baptist Church, New Sarpy, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose.
WOODS
NORCO – Elizabeth Hulton Woods, 86, a native of Allow, Scotland, and resident of Metairie and Destrehan, died May 2. She was the wife of the late Henry Woods Jr., and mother of Kathleen Woods.
She was also the daughter of the late John and Helen Adamson Hutton, and sister of Bill Hutton. She is preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
She is also survived by three grandchildren.
She was a member of The Daughters of the British Empire.
