St John The Baptist Parish

LAPLACE – St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff Wayne L. Jones reported the following recent arrests:

• Jamaar Lipps, 25, 2113 S. Sugar Ridge Road, LaPlace, distribution of marijuana, probation violation and being a fugitive from another agency.

• George M. Smith Jr., 17, 141 Annex Drive, Reserve, DWI, reckless operation of a motor vehicle and hit-and-run driving.

HAHNVILLE – Incidents

• Burglary of a location in the 600 block of East Club Drive, St. Rose, where a stereo/CD player and a CD case with 20 CDs, all valued at $375, were reported stolen.

• Burglary of a location in the 100 block of Diamond Road, Norco, where a PlayStation 2 with adaptor and a VCR, all valued at $275, were reported stolen.

• Theft of 15 plastic containers all valued at $180 from a location in the 100 block of Jane Lane, St. Rose.

• Burglary of a location in the 400 block of East Club Drive, St. Rose, where a Panasonic radio valued at $150 was reported stolen.

• Theft of four toilets, seven faucets, seven toilet seats, seven supply tubs, seven lavatory tubs, seven bolts and wax rings and an Ovalyn lavatory, total value undetermined, from a location in the 100 block of James Bou-levard, St. Rose.

• Burglary of a vehicle in the Orion Refining parking lot, Norco, where an Alpine stereo and television, VCR and an amplifier, total value undetermined, were reported stolen.

• Theft of a Dell Latitude CPX valued at $600 from a location in the 400 block of Louisiana Highway 3142, Taft.

• Theft of a 1988 Ford Escort valued at $1,000 from a location in the 400 block of St. Charles Street, Norco.

• Theft of a 2001 Chevrolet truck valued at $20,000 from the Orion Refining parking lot, Norco.

• Theft of two pirogues, all valued at $500, from a location in the 100 block of Easy Street, Des Allemands.
