BROWN
LULING – Kathleen Ann “Tut Tut” “Kat” Blanchard Brown, 52, a native of New Orleans and resident of Boutte, died Sept. 20. She was the wife of the late Kyle Trauth, by first marriage, and the late Daba Brown, by second marriage, and mother of Tammy Pecil and Raymond, Nicole and the late Melissa Veillon.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Schmill Blanchard; stepdaughter of the late Harry Cologne and sister of Katherine Mehrhoff, Patricia Alphonso and Joseph III and the late Loyola Blanchard.
She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 24 at H.C. Alexander Chapel in Norco, with interment at St. Charles Mausoleum, Luling.

CURRERA
METAIRIE – Irma Petrolia Currera, 77, a native of St. Rose and resident of Kenner, died Sept. 18. She was the mother of Michael and Kris Currera.
She was the sister of Betty Stern and Noelie Carpenter.
She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 21 at Lake Lawn Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at Lake Lawn Park, Metairie.

GUERET
RESERVE – Glenn “Tony” Gueret Jr., 17, a native of Reserve and resident of Alabama, died Sept. 22. He was the son of Glenn Gueret Sr. and Donna Landry and brother of Brandon Landry and Angie and Amy Cambre.
He was the grandson of Maurice Landry and the late Verna Landry and Charles and Winnie Gueret.
Services were Sept. 24 at Millet Guidry Funeral Home with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.

KIRKLIN
PAULINA – Mildred Albert Kirklin, 76, a native of Hester, former resident of New Orleans and resident of Lutcher, died Sept. 15. She was the wife of the late Joseph Kirklin and mother of Nelson and the late Leory and Phillip Kirklin.
She was the daughter of the late Eugene and Victoria Russell Albert, stepdaughter of Mary Albert and sister of Roosevelt and the late James and George Albert.
She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 21 at Evergreen Baptist Church, Paulina, with interment at Antioch Cemetery, Paulina.

MONTELIUS
MARRERO – Frances Miano Montelius, 76, a native of Garyville and resident of Marrero, died Sept. 19. She was the wife of Gilbert Montelius Sr. and the mother of Frank Borne Sr. and Susan and Wayne Montelius Sr.
She was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Sancetta Miano and sister of Rosemary Giardina and Joseph and Frank and the late Sam Miano.
She is also survived by three grandchildren.
A memorial service was Sept. 21 at Mothe Funeral Home, Marrero, with private interment.

SCHEXNAYDER
LULING – Agatha Champagne Schexnayder, 93, a native and resident of Hahnville, died Sept. 21. She was the wife of the late O.J. Schexnayder and mother of Louis Schexnayder Sr. and the late Wesley and Wayne Schexnayder Sr.
She was the sister of Amelle Madere, Marian Zeringue, Joan Champagne.
She is survived by seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 24 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment at St. Charles Cemetery, Luling.

SCIONEAUX
ST. JAMES – Felonise “Madear” Scioneaux, 71, a native and resident of St. James, died Sept. 19. She was the wife of Joseph Scioneaux and the mother of Mavis Prestley, Joanne Jasmin, Debbie Stieb and Susan, Kalvin, Donald and Kenneth Scioneaux.
She was the daughter of the late Romalis and Octavia Mayho and sister of Myrtle Weber and Matthew Mayho. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services were Sept. 24 at St. James Catholic Church, St. James, with interment at the church cemetery.

TURNER
EDGARD – Telma Turner, 73, a native and resident of Edgard, died Sept. 21. She was the wife of the late Felton Turner and the mother of Gwendolyn Mitchell, Sheila Jones and Alvin, Gerald, Calvin, Reginald, Ronnie and Wade Turner.
She was the daughter of the late Willis Sr. and Semonia Young and Alma Lumar and sister of Lilly Johnson, Brenetta Dunmiles, Mildred Samuel, Willis Jr. and Alfred Young, Luther and Shirley Mason, Anderson, Harold, Darrell and Morris Lumar and the late Lucille Favorite.
Service were Sept. 24 at Greater New St. Peter Baptist Church, Edgard, with interment at Young Cemetery, Edgard.
