BORNE
RESERVE – Arthur Whitney Borne Sr., 78, a native of Edgard and resident of Reserve for 75 years, died June 13. He was the husband of 52 years of Helen Waguespack Borne and father of Paulette Virnich, Judy Hartmann, Amy Ryan, Dennis, Whitney Jr. and Stanley Borne Sr.
He was the son of the late Arthur and Felicite Constant Borne, and brother of Reynold Borne, and the late Barnette and Clark Borne.
He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, Reserve, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.
BROWN
METAIRIE – William T. Brown, 58, a native of New Orleans, former resident of Kenner for 22 years and resident of Destrehan for the past year, died June 10.
He was the husband of Linda Vallette Brown, father of Brandi and Todd Brown and stepfather of Tara Hall and Troy Guidry.
He was the son of William Brown Sr., and the late Audrey LaPlace Brown, stepson of Leon Gambino, and brother of Judy Gambino, Key, Wayne and Glen Brown.
He is also survived by two stepgrandchildren.
He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a resitred sales representative for Cummings MidSouth.
Services were June 14 in the chapel of Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Metairie, with interment at Garden of Memories.
CELESTIN
ST. JAMES – Isabella “Bell” Jones Celestin, 48, a native and resident of St. James, died June 11. She was the wife of Louis Celestin Sr., mother of Latoya and Letieia Celestin and stepmother of Louis Jr. and Dominic Celestin.
She was the daughter of Eloise Jones and sister of Rozella Williams, Genella Aubert, Oneda Griffin, the Rev. Myron and Samuel Jones, and Robert, Bernardo, Steve and Curtis Raymond.
Services are today at noon at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, St. James, with interment at the church cemetery. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
DOMINO
MARRERO – Joseph Hilton Domino, 82, a native of Vacherie and resident of Marrero, died June 11. He was the husband of the late Ruby Hymes Domino and father of the late Doris Hymes Walker.
He was the son of the late Donation and Nora Lee Osborne Domino, and brother of Wilford Domino, and the late Thelma Young, Alma Triche, Ethel Holmes, Horace and Clinton Domino.
He is also survived by three grandchildren.
He was a retired laborer at Celotex Corp.
Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Marrero, with interment at Restlawn Cemetery, Avondale. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.
DUHE
LUTCHER – Robert Joseph Duhe, 89, a native of Lutcher and resident of Hester, died June 12. He was the husband of 66 years of Laura Roussel Duhe and father of Carolyn Allen, “Flo” Champagne, Pat Landry, Shirley Roussel, Roberta Melancon and Lorraine Rojas.
He was the son of the late Tristan and Martha Frederick Duhe, and brother of Rose Matherne, Rita Veron, Elise Blankenship, Janice Cox, Richard and Morris Duhe, and the late Marguerite Barrios, Larry and Tommy Duhe.
Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment at the church mausoleum. Visitation starts at 8 a.m.
FAGAN
METAIRIE – Cecilia Mullen Fagan, 67, a native of Lutcher and resident of Metairie, died June 9. She was the wife of Luther Fagan and mother of Alice, Michael, Norman and Luther James Fagan.
She was the sister of Leonna Tyler, Jean Lee and Theodora Mullen.
She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, Metairie, with interment at Providence Memorial Park. Visitation starts at 9 a.m.
TURNER
GARYVILLE – Terry Suggs Turner, 50, a native and resident of Garyville, died June 9. She was the wife of the late Eddie Turner, and mother of Charlene Kesee and Ashley Turner.
She was the daughter of Rosia H. Suggs, and the late James Suggs, and sister of Belinda Zeno, James Sr., Bobby and the Rev. Perry Suggs Sr.
She is also survived by two grandchildren.
Services are today at 11 a.m. at True Light Baptist Church, Garyville, with interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Lions. Visitation starts at 10 a.m.
