Florence Berta and Adam Paszkowski of Brooklyn, N.Y., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Annemarie Paszkowski of LaPlace, to Craig J. Carlson of LaPlace, son of Iris Priest and George Carlson of Brooklyn, N.Y. The couple plan to marry July 21 at B.B.’s Reception Hall in LaPlace, with Justice of the Peace Karen Bailey officiating. A reception, also at B.B.’s, will follow the ceremony. The bride-elect received a business degree after high school and is employed as a substitute teacher for the St. John Parish School system. The prospective bridegroom received his certification in cable/fiber-optics after high school and is employed by Time Warner Cable of LaPlace.
