Fifth St. in LaPlace.Celebrate Recovery, a Christ-centered 12-step program for anyone who is struggling with co-dependency, alcohol and substance abuse, sexual addiction, eating disorders, gambling, etc., is from 7-9 p.m. at Vineyard Christian Fellowship Church, 4224 Williams Blvd. in Kenner. Free art classes for St. Charles Parish senior citizens, age 60 and up, are from noon to 3 p.m. at the New Sarpy Senior Citizen Center. The class is taught by local artist and member of the Le Petit Art Guild Edie Corso. Supplies are furnished by St. Charles Parish Parks and Recreation Department.
