ARMANT

EDGARD – Joseph Armant, 79, a native of Wallace and resident of Edgard, died March 26. He was the husband of the late Joyce S. Amant and father of Janice Felton and Carolyn and Ivy Armant.He was the son of the late Adolph and Francis Armant and is survived by six sisters and three brothers.He is also survived by two grandchildren.Services were March 30 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Edgard, with interment at the church cemetery.CUREAUX
LAPLACE – The Rev. Junius L. Cureaux, 85, a native and resident of Lions, died March 22. He was the son of the late Odile Watkins Cureaux and George Cureaux and adopted father of Eddie Cureaux.He is also survived by two grandchildren.Services were March 29 at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church, LaPlace, with interment at Zion Travelers Cemetery, Lions.
GUIDRY
GARYVILLE – Felecie Frederick Guidry, 96, a native of Lutcher and resident of Garyville for 74 years, died March 27. She was the wife of the late Louis Guidry and mother of Helen “Sue” LeBoeuf and Eleanor LeBoeuf.She is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Services were March 29 at St. Hubert Catholic Church, Garyville, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.LOUIS

MARRERO – Ethel Mae Alexander Louis, 65, a native of Edgard and resident of Marrero, died March 27. She was the wife of James Louis and mother of Marilyn Legaux, Roslyn Mitchell, Darlene Davis and Craig, Deadoria, Schnell and Rodney Louis.She was also the daughter of Perkin and Ethel AlexanderShe was also the sister of Lucille Brown, Carolyn Wallace, Gloria Jackson, Darnell Jackson, Debbra Cummings, Irvin, Andrew, Milton and Perkin Alexander Jr. and the late Sedonia Bailey and Warren Alexander.She is also survived by 19 grandchildren.Services are today at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Marrero, with interment at St. John the Baptist Mausoleum, Edgard. PAULINA – Jacob V. “Jake” Tramonte, 63, a native of Lutcher and resident of Gramercy, died March 26. He was the father of Neely and Ryan Tramonte.He was also the son of the late Samuel and Anna Tramonte.He was also the brother of Elizabeth “Betty” Bleakley and Augustina, Steve and the late Louis Tramonte.He is also survived by two grandchildren.Services were March 29 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, with interment at the church mausoleum.TROXLER
HAHNVILLE – Martha Cecilia Troxler, 77, a native and resident of Hahnville, died March 27. She was the wife of Leonard Troxler and mother of Carl, Craig, Brian and the late Curt Troxler.She was also the daughter of the late Lestaux and Desiree Vicknair Falgout and sister of Frances Laurent, Melia Starkovich, Vera Cefalu, Howard Falgout and the late Denise Desmond and Lawrence and Clem Falgout.She is also survived by six grandchildren.Services were March 29 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, with interment at the church cemetery in Taft.
