A Bah class, “Dynamics of Prayer,” begins at 7:30 p.m. at Joans Preschool Building, 1712 Carrollwood Drive in LaPlace. Cost is $5 to cover the cost of materials for this series, which continues every Wednesday until April 4. Free childrens activities will be offered during the adult classes. A beginners class in chord piano is from 6-9 p.m. at Delgado Community College in New Orleans. In one lesson, students will learn all the chords needed to play any song, any style, any key and reading chord symbols, not notes. Dinners are $5 each. Fish balls, side items and desserts will also be sold. The event is a fund-raiser for the chuch and school.
