NORCO – Harry Joseph Guidry, 79, a native of Braithwaite, former resident of Garyville and resident of Norco for 52 years, died Feb. 22. He was the husband of 52 years of Marjorie “Margie” Clement Guidry and father of Eva Holmes, Patti Clement and Ann Marie Guidry.He was also the son of the late Robert and Louella Guidry and brother of Julia Oubre, Marie Guidry and the late Richard Guidry.He retired from Shell Oil in 1983, and was active in Sacred Heart Yard Boys, American Legion, St. Charles Council On Aging, Retired Senior Volunteer Program, AARP and Shell Employees Club.Services were Feb. 26 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Norco, with interment at St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve.ROSATO
KENNER – Mary Triche Rosato, 79, a native of Garyville and resident of Kenner for 34 years, died Feb. 25. She was the wife of Matthew Rosato and mother of Marily Latino.She was also the sister of Mildred Myer and the late Clifford and Norwood Triche.She is also survived by two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Services are today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral Home, Kenner, with interment at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Visitation starts at 10 a.m.TOUCHARD
LULING – Sylvia Caillet Touchard, 64, a native of Raceland and resident of Luling, died Feb. 23. She was the wife of the late Myron Touchard Sr. and mother of Teddi Roberts and Myron “Matt” Jr., Patrick and Brandon Touchard.She was also the daughter of the late Syl Sr. and Maybelle Boudoin Caillet and sister of Gerald, Syl Jr. and the late Cynthia Caillet.She is also survived by three grandchildren.Services were Feb. 26 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Luling, with interment at St. Gertrude Cemetery, Des Allemands.
