SCC Krewe de Charles XV royal court and carnival ball announced

LAPLACE – St. Charles Catholic High School announces its Krewe de Charles XV carnival ball royal court. Sixteen couples competed for this year’s title of King and Queen of the Krewe de Charles XV. The theme of the 15th annual event is “An Evening of Tropical Enchantment.” The Krewe de Charles XV Bal Masque will take place Feb. 3 at 7 p.m. in St. Charles Catholic High School’s gymnasium. Following the retirement of the royal court, the royal band will perform. Tickets for the event are $6 each and can be purchased at the school. Representing the Pacific Islands as the queen of the Krewe de Charles XV court is Sarah Beth Roussel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert “Poncho” Roussel of Paulina. Page to her majesty is master Jordan Edward Martinez, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Duhe. Representing the Pacific Islands as the King of the Krewe de Charles XV is Travis John Luminais, son of Mr. and Mrs. Toby Luminais of Lutcher. Page to his majesty is master Joseph Arthur Carmouche, son of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Carmouche. Representing Hawaii is princess Sara Marie LeBlanc, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn LeBlanc of Garyville. The prince of Hawaii is Toby Paul Jacob, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Jacob of Reserve. Representing Oahu is princess Lynda Ann Simon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Simon of LaPlace. The prince of Oahu is Bret Michael Deroche, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Deroche of Gramercy. Representing Fiji is princess Nikki Jean Michel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Michel of Paulina. The prince of Fiji is Henry Benjamin Beadle III, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Deaton of LaPlace and the late Henry Beadle Jr. Representing Tahiti is princess Crissy Carol Michel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mark Michel of Paulina. The prince of Tahiti is Matthew Paul Arceneaux, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Arceneaux of Convent. Representing Lanai is princess Elyse Marie Catoire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ched Catoire of LaPlace.
