Charles Bruna and Debra Hlebik exchange vows in Montego Bay

Debra Kay Hlebik and Charles Anthony Bruna, both of LaPlace, were united in marriage Oct. 2 at the chapel at Sandals in Montego Bay Resort, MontegoBay, Jamaica, with the Rev. Grenyon officiating.The bride is the daughter of Betty King of Denbo, Pa., and the late JohnHlebik.

The groom is the son of Graziella Hernandez and Carlos Bruna, both Westwego.

The bride wore a white satin informal wedding gown with a polished round neckline, deep V-back, three-D lace rose appliques accented with crystal and pearl beading on the bodice, short sleeves and peplum back skirt with a basque waistline. A crown of crystal beads and pearls complete withtiered fingertip veil completed the ensemble. Her bouquet was a tropicalmix of pink roses and purple orchids.

The matron of honor was Violet Shimp, and the bestman was Dave Stajenga, both of Houston.

Following a honeymoon at Sandals Montego Bay Resort, Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple now reside in LaPlace.
